Concocted with bad graphics-on-purpose, unsettling audio design, and a scare every few seconds, Baldi's Basics has positioned itself as a perfect marriage of nostalgia and unique nightmare. It starts off as a nostalgic trip down memory lane and is soon followed by a frantic chase toward survival!

Gameplay

Baldi's Basics is set in a really scary school setting where your actual job is to track down and collect seven notebooks placed randomly in various classrooms. Each notebook bears math problems, and the progress lies entirely on solving them. But mind you, getting anything wrong will alert Baldi, who then commences his journey of finding you-not-so-slowly at first and then with alarm!

The simplistic controls that are very easy to grasp are as follows: -WASD to move -Holding Shift to Run (Limited Stamina) -Move the mouse to look around -Left-click to collect items and interact

After you've made your steps through halls and classrooms, other odd characters will also make appearances and try to stand in your way: these include the principal, a bully, and Playtime with her deadly skipping rope. Grab some useful items to solve puzzles that allow you to stay one step ahead of these hindrances and finally escape out of this school!
