Classic Chess Duel is an engaging two-player board game set on a traditional 8x8 chessboard with 64 squares. It features 16 pieces per player, including a king, queen, knights, rooks, bishops, and pawns. The game's primary objective is to checkmate your opponent, placing their king in a position where it can be captured, effectively ending the game.

How to Play

Classic Chess Pieces and Movements:

1. King: Moves one square in any direction but cannot move through squares that are under attack.
2. Queen: Moves any number of squares vertically, horizontally, or diagonally.
3. Rook: Moves any number of squares horizontally or vertically, passing over other pieces.
4. Bishop: Moves any number of squares diagonally, bypassing other pieces.
5. Knight: Jumps two squares in one direction and then one square perpendicular to that, or vice versa.
6. Pawn: Moves one square forward; on the first move, it can move two squares forward.

Checkmate and Victory: The winner is the player who checkmates the opponent's king. This occurs when the king is in a position where it cannot escape capture by any legal move, and there are no pieces to block the path of the opponent's pieces.
